By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Steve_Cope]Steve Cope Payday loans are very short term loans of usually one or two weeks, which are to be repaid when you get your paycheck. The objective of taking payday loans is to tide over unexpected financial exigencies or medical emergencies. Payday loans are also called a cash advance, check loan, payday advance loan or paycheck loan. If you are not able to pay off the payday loan on the stipulated date, you have the option to roll it over. However, you have to pay extra fees for the extension of the payday loan. Why are payday loans needed? Payday loans or a cash advance may be required at the end of the month for meeting urgent expenses like medical bills, electricity bills, phone bills, house rent, other utility bills or any other unexpected expenditure. Such situations usually arise when a person lives beyond his means or fails to maintain a household budget. In these circumstances, payday loans or a cash advance is usually the only way out of a difficult financial situation. Is it wise to get a payday loan? There are times when it may be wise to obtain payday loans to get out of a tight financial situation. You must be sure that you have the capacity to pay back the Payday loans or cash advance as planned. Some of the situations in which it may be wise to obtain a payday loan are: You can take a payday loan to ensure that your checks do not bounce. The costs of a bounced check may add up to more than the cost of taking a payday loan. Take payday loans if not paying for your immediate need entails serious long-term consequences. However, you have to ensure that it should be more serious than the 20% to 30% fee for the payday loan. In case the late fee for not making a payment will be more than the cost of the payday loan. When not making the payment will reflect on your credit rating. Late payments may show up on your credit records and make it difficult for you to get a loan years later. Your credit rating is something you can not leave behind you and you may need to take payday loans to protect your credit rating. You have to be sure that you are taking a payday loan or cash advance for the right reasons. If the $30 or $40 fee of payday loans can get you out of a situation involving a major expense or long-term consequences, it may be wise to take a payday loan. The only major consequence of a payday loan or cash advance is the fee involved, which may appear to be a small amount but could add up to a huge sum if you took it with a long term perspective. It is not advisable to take payday loans to make an impulse purchase or to get some spending money or when it is not crucial to get one. The charges for payday loans of a few weeks are very low but if you are not able to pay off the loan on time, you will have to pay very steep fees, which may be very difficult to bear. You must be sure that the payday loans or cash advance is being taken for something that is necessary and that sufficient money will be coming in to pay off the loan. Surveys have shown that the number of people taking payday loans or a cash advance and the number of companies offering payday loans are growing. 10 Important, Easy Dating Rules to Ensure Your Success
By Billy Baker 1) Leave the mobile phone off! Do not answer it if it is on Silent either. You should only do this if you are expecting an emergency and I mean an emergency. You only look like a deadhead, self-centred fool answering a phone at a meeting that is important and that goes for all meetings. It's inconsiderate and breeds contempt from the other party even if they agree to you answering it. They're only being polite which you're not, if you do have a ringing phone and answer it. This does not mean leave it at home - you may need it later. 2) Don't smoke anything in the presence of others unless they also smoke and for goodness sake make sure that no one near you is eating. Never smoke in an area where people are eating even if they smoke. You would be a fool to smoke in the presence of your date when they didn't smoke. If you're keen, it may be time to think about not smoking in their presence again. 3) A good rule is not to talk about your achievements unless you are asked. Bragging is more often frowned upon and puts people off early. Show some interest in your date and their hobbies, achievements and interests. If you do this regularly enough, it will become a habit and your good social skills will become very obvious to others including your date. 4) Find some way to compliment them. This is good practise even if you don't think this person is right for you. What goes around comes around! This is also a great building block for social skills improvement. 5) Smart casual attire is always good for the first date. Girls - don't go over the top with jewellery. It looks crass and sometimes cheap! Subtlety is the name of the game here. Boys - don't swear or cuss. It only indicates ignorance and sometimes stupidity. It does not make you look tough. Your actions and the way you deal with life will show how tough you are quickly enough. Most people can find an adjective somewhere in their vocabulary to describe things. You'll find that you can too! 6) Most girls like to be respected and despite their eye lashes fluttering away in some scenarios, they are generally quite bright and one step ahead of you. The more you treat them like your equal in conversation, the more quickly you will identify a good match for you or not. 7) Most boys like to have interest shown in their achievements or interests. In fact, you could just focus on this for the whole date and be safe if you wanted to. 8) Eat like a human being - don't quaff down the food like it's your last meal. Dont fill up. This will ensure that you can feel good about doing something after you've dined i.e. dancing, a walk even consider going to a different venue for coffee, dessert, dancing or a drink perhaps. Mixing you're venues often displays varying behaviour. If your date begins to swing from a chandelier after one drink you may want to consider the future carefully. 9) Boys - if you enjoyed your date, say so at the end of the evening. Follow up with a thoughtful gift such as flowers to her place of work or her doorstep. It does NOT have to be expensive. The surprise is what counts here, along with the fact that you have obviously thought about her since the date. Hand write the card and leave a phone number she can catch you on. 10) Girls - try not to make yourself too available at the end of your first date. But make your feelings clear with an element of subtlety. Whatever you do, do not ask him if he will call again. Your mind set must be one of value and you must tell yourself that if he doesn't call then there will be another who will. I assure you there will! One more thing - on your first few dates never and I mean never get in a discussion of old boy friends or girlfriends, ex wives or husbands, nor anything to do with these issues - Never! Romance Is Overrated - Get Over It And Move Beyond It!
By Dr. Robert Huizenga Almost daily I encounter those entangled in a kind of extramarital affair I describe as "I Fell Out of Love...and just love being in love." The cheating or "offending" spouse has encountered someone where there are "sparks!" Here are common phrases: (to the spouse) "I love you but am not 'in love' with you. The romance in our marriage is gone. I found someone who really loves me." (self thoughts) "I don't want to settle. I have a lot of love to give. He/she treats me like no one else. I feel special with the other person." The "offended spouse" often responds with increased or new romantic gestures. They fall flat. At the core of this kind of affair is a deeply engrained belief that "romance" is the savior and benchmark of a great marriage or intimate relationship. Here are some reflections on romance: 1. "Romance" is subtly touted in our culture (USA) as the ultimate experience in an intimate relationship. Romance is idealized in movies and books as the ecstasy of being "in love." We can't get enough (hugely profitable grocery counter tabloids) of which "stars" are currently "in love" with whom. And, it often does not matter (really) if the are married. Oh gosh, to be like that, to experience that. Wouldn't that be wonderful? 2. Romantic movies are often called "romantic comedies." Ever wonder why they are so funny or why they should be? Or, at the other end, romantic movies are tragedies (Romeo and Juliet). How about the smaltzie "Bridges of Madison County" where the woman and man (Clint Eastwood) never get at the huge "emptiness" in their lives? Ever see a "real" romantic movie? 3. The search for romance whether through an affair or within our marriage often belies powerful personal needs. It has little to do with love and more to do with getting our personal needs met. Most of us have strong needs such as to be acknowledged, adored, cared for or perhaps cherished. Another powerful need is to feel "special." This is often the pattern for a man overindulged by his mother (forgive me for bringing in Freud) or a woman who was the "apple of her father's eye," yet was emotionally deprived in that relationship. Romance becomes the vehicle through which these needs are supposedly met without needing to name those needs or talk about them. (Gosh, he/she knows what I want before I do - he/she can read my mind. He/she/we are special!) Don't get me wrong. Personal needs are ok. We all have them. Personal needs drive, often powerfully, what we go after. But, and this is a huge but, if we do not consciously name them and get them met once and for all (and that can be done!) they continue to drive us and we live perpetually in frustration, always wanting more. Once we move beyond the merry-go-round of personal need meeting we discover our personal passion, our purpose and reach down and touch the essence of real joy and peace. 4. Romance is for mating. Sex (sexual union) is often the bottom line. The "chemistry" described in "romantic love" we are finding, is truly that - raw chemistry. Studies now show (just read this last week) that those "in love" have a high concentration of specific dorphins (chemicals) in their bodies. These are the chemicals found when animals are in "heat." I also believe that we run into 2-3 people in our life-time where we experience this "chemistry." I have no idea why this happens. There appears to be some attraction, based on a huge number of factors that stir our juices - literally. Interesting. But, doesn't mean that I must jump into bed with this person. Maybe some animals do, however. 5. A person seeking romance is often someone looking for a high. They want to feel good. They expect they should feel good. They believe they should jump on something that feels good. They want the pill, the drug, the retreat, the experience that will take away their pain, their emptiness, their loneliness and make them feel good. Of course, it is only temporary. The nagging pain continually emerges and their eternal search for quelling the storm within seeks a new substance. So, should I forget the cards, the notes, the special events I plan secretly for him/her, the I love yous and be cold, frigid and distant? Of course not. Please understand the temporary place of "romance" and the fact that your relationship longs for moments, days, weeks and years in which you declare your self more and more fully and welcome (sometimes with trepidation) the declarations of the other and together explore the depths of acceptance and heightened awareness (love) that moves beyond romance and knows no end. Felt Making: Famous Among The Textile Making Techniques
By Mayoor Patel Wool felt or simply felt is a fabric that is formed when a sheep's wool or an animal fur has been exposed to heat and moisture. This process is hastened by the presence of an alkaline such as soap. The heat and moisture applied on the wool tends to open the outer scales of the fiber and the soap acts like a lubricant agent causing the fibers to slide easily over one another. This natural entanglement then becomes permanent and irreversible due to the chemical bonding of the keratin proteins present on the fibers forming the fabric. As it is, the process is a fairly simple. This is actually the main advantage of felt making over other textile making techniques; there is a finished product in much lesser time of production. Humans might have discovered the simple process from the effect of the natural elements on the wool or fur of the animals. There are evidences that early humans used wool to keep their feet warm. Years of walking and stomping on the wool had made it stiff, which eventually turned it into wool felt. The oldest archaeological evidences of the use of felt were in Turkey. Wall paintings dated back from 6500 BC depicted what seems to be a felt making process. The Romans and the Greeks of the ancient times knew of the uses of wool felt. In fact, Roman soldiers were found to have worn felt breastplates, tunics, boots and even socks as protection from arrows. The process of felt making did not change much over the years. Varied discoveries during our age, of burial grounds of a nomadic tribal chief in Siberia, a warrior of the Iron Age in Scandinavia, and a body in an old tomb in Norway, all showed marks of wool felt usage as a body wrap. Today, the felt is widely used in various parts of the world, most especially in areas with harsh and very cold climates. Felt is being used by nomads to make tents called 'gets or yurts' in Mongolia. The hats, rugs and other similar items are made of felt in Turkey. Similarly, felt tents, rugs and blankets are used by nomadic tribes in South Central Asia. Felt boots are very famous in Russia and Scandinavia. Felt cloaks called kepeneks are used by Shepherds as protection against the rough climate. History and Party Trivia of Stuffed Animals
By Gail Leino The concept of stuffed animals are reflected in tomb paintings that date back a really long time to Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia civilizations. Based upon the paintings as they have been discovered and translated, it would appear that stuffed animals had a purpose in religious ceremony and ritual as well as being used for the purpose of human play. Medieval Europe used stuffed animals in mystery plays to represent animals seen in the Bible stories. Stuffed animals were used to represent characters like the serpent in the Garden of Eden or lions in the story of Daniel in the lions den. These animal roles were a pivotal part of the story that could not be ignored, but could not acted out by a human actor either. Therefore, the stuffed animals worked much better to fill the part. Toys became a booming industry during the Industrial Revolution in Europe. Soft toys became increasingly popular among the population with the Steiff Corporation of Germany quickly becoming the industry leader. However, all stuffed animals are not always made by mechanized industry and a great deal of samples of stuffed animals have been found made in a more homemade genre with stuffings full of stray, cotton, batting, rags, and even beans. Some stuffed animals have even been found to have been made from stuffing the skins of hunted animals, but it is unclear whether these were animals that were made for use as a toy, or if they were utilized to become display items which would be more of a taxidermy utilization, not necessarily a toy. Among the most popular stuffed animals, the teddy bear and the sock monkey almost always rank high toward the top of the list. Both have been in production since the early 1900s, while there is evidence that sock monkeys may have been popular much earlier, although not in formal production. Today, soft toys and stuffed animals remain popular. In recent years the Ty Company brought back a renaissance of sorts to the stuffed animal market with their Beanie Baby line. Animal lovers, children and collectors from countries all over the world bought up as many stuffed animals as Ty Company could produce including stuffed versions of lizards, dinosaurs, unicorns, and goldfish along with the standard animal patterns of bears, cats, dogs, bunnies, etc. Today, literally hundreds if not thousands, of companies produce stuffed animals for sale worldwide. Do You Know This Man?
By Michael Tummillo A few months ago, I "accidentally" sent one of my eMinistry broadcasts to a certain individual who ran a business in my hometown. After he received my message, he wrote and shared the story of how he and his wife of many years had separated and how, on one attempt to see her in Mansfield, he was crying so hard he could hardly see the road in the rain. He was repenting before God as he drove - repenting for ignoring Him; disobeying Him. You see, many years ago, this man felt God was calling him into the ministry. Well, he wrecked his car that night. Rolled it three times and flattened it down to the steering wheel. But he emerged without a scratch. While this was happening, his wife was also hearing from the Lord and became convicted about leaving him. He admitted that his life had become so career-oriented and that he was in mad pursuit of the Almighty Dollar. He neglected her and he ignored his true calling from Heaven. The couple is happily back together and he is attending Truett Seminary right now. He recently had his first preaching gig at a Cowboy Church in Mansfield. I could sense his excitement and his strong desire to serve God as if the man had finally discovered his reason for living. He promised we will do lunch and meet in person for the first time in a week or so. I can't wait! Who is this man? Perhaps you know him. His name is Lyle. The business he owns? It's a much-despised tattoo shop on the town square in my hometown. He's selling the business actually, having become convicted about running "that kinfd"of business. I'm glad he's following his convictions. When he attempted to market his business as being "Christian-owned and operated," his staff protested. Long-time friends gave him a hard time and asked that their names and artwork be removed from his website. Some would say his livelihood was coming apart. Others would say it was finally coming together. God is Lyle's Provider. He knows that now. Do you know anyone who seems far removed from the things of God? Perhaps a liquor store owner, a bar owner, the guy who runs an adult book store in your town? Question: are you praying for him with a heart filled with love and compassion, as I'm sure many did for Lyle, or is it a heart motivated by hatred? Are you loving him, meeting him at the point of his needs? When he meets your church representatives, are they pointing an accusing finger in the spirit realm, or does he see Jesus? I know a club owner who said that Christians are repeatedly condemning him and brow-beating him for running "that kind" of establishment. Fortunately, other Christians ARE loving the man. I see this guy as an Apostle Paul one day. He recently spent a great deal of money to book a Christian band that had the hottest song on the planet. I MC'd the event. An embarrassing 18 teenie-boppers showed up. There will be no more Christian concerts, I've been told. The local Church missed an opportunity, in my opinion. We could have filled that place with so many saints he would have HAD to take notice. Anything that impacts a person's pocketbook WILL get their attention. Sadly, the mighty Army of God was motivated by hatred, fears and prejudices or simply too preoccupied with its own agenda to notice what it was God might have been requiring. We WILL get another chance to pass that kind test. You can bet on it. Again and again until we pass. Lyle's testimony gave me a renewed hope. How about you? Whether it's a bar owner, a drunken street person, a backslidden drug addict, God's arm is not so short that He can't reach the down and outers among us. Jesus died for them, too. He wants US to show THEM what He is like. Pass this around if you like. If you dare. It seems to minister conviction to everyone who hears it so far. Satan ALWAYS shoots himself in the foot. God WILL be glorified by the seemingly "hardest cases" in our midst. Every blessing,
